Descriptive summary: Continuous evaluation, development of treatment plan and conducting appropriate physical therapy management to meet the patient needs in an efficient, productive manner and within the guidelines of the Company and the State Boards at large. Observe all appropriate measures to ensure the patients' safety. Maintain accurate, current records on all patients according to the department's policy and procedures. Supervise professional and para-professional staff as it relates to patient care. Participate in the quality improvement process and in updating programs and development of new ones. Assist with educational programs for departmental and facility partners and other medical professionals.

A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy is required ( Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy is even preferred) ; proven track record of effective patient care through Physical Therapy Program; minimum of 2+ years post graduate experience as PT in either LTACH, LTC, SNF, Sub-Acute, Inpatient/Outpatient environment (with minimum 1 year 'current' position as PT).
