The City of Anaheim, Community Services Department, is seeking a Program Specialist for our Adult Softball Program. This is a part-time year round position averaging about 30 hours per week, however, no minimum number of hours are guaranteed and will include weekends, nights, and holidays.
We are currently looking for a Program Specialist who will:
Under the supervision of the Senior Program Specialist, direct and supervise the Adult Softball Program.
Train, schedule, supervise and evaluate staff and contracted officials.
Assist in the development and implementation of the Adult Softball Program and special events.
Order and maintain equipment and supplies.
Prepare reports and maintain records.
Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Experience in sports programming.
Experience in supervising and training staff, volunteers, and officials.
Experience working with the public.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. CLASS software is desirable.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
The ability to maintain effective working relationships with others.
Must be able to lift or move 30-80 lb. equipment.
A valid California Driver's License.
