Job Title: PT Deli/Bakery Team Member - Harveys
Responsible for providing great customer service to Harveys customers and taking care of duties assigned by the deli/bakery manager. Understand price book and operation of deli/bakery equipment including meat slicers, scales, registers, etc. Understand tare weight. Understand hot foods portion control. Prepare and/or cook food items and set up the hot bar. Ability to letter messages on cakes (birthday, anniversary, etc.). Understand and follow company reduction policies. Package chicken and ribs for service case, change out pans and freshen the hot case. Break down hot case. Check dates and properly rotate deli/bakery meats, salads, etc. Understand and follow cleaning, dishwashing and sanitation procedures. Properly clean deli/bakery area. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and standard practices. Technical skills in all areas of preparation and handling of deli/bakery product.
Ability to break down and reassemble equipment as needed for sanitation purposes.
Ability to use production guides, ovens, proof boxes, bakery scale/printer, chicken fryer, rotisserie, stove and hot cases.
Good communications skills with friendly personality.
Good personal hygiene.
