Job Title: PT Market Team Member - Harveys
Responsible for providing great customer service in the meat department and throughout the store’s sales floor. Must always provide friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service. Provide proper cutting, trimming, traying, and packaging of all special orders. Maintain proper and safe use of all equipment including maintenance and daily sanitation. Maintain proper stocking, pricing, labeling, and rotation of fresh meat items, lunch meats, and frozen foods and proper case merchandising and allocation. Responsible for weighing, pricing, labeling, organizing, and rotating product. Properly pull and dispose or allocate out-of-date product. Perform all other duties as assigned. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and standard practices. Must be able to read, understand, and follow all guidelines in the Standard Harveys Operating Practices (SHOPS) Manual.
Maximize sales through excellent customer service.
Ability to safely operate all Market Department equipment including slicer, grinder, scale, saw, knife, wrapper and cuber.
Ability to disassemble, clean and reassemble all equipment as part of the sanitation process.
Ability to withstand for long periods a working environment of 45°F or less.
Ability to meet production standards established by Harveys.
Must be able to fulfill essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
