Working under the direction of the PTS Manager of Project Management, the PTS Project Management Administrator oversees a team of Project Managers and Project Management Assistants (PMs), including workload management, administrative management, consultation related to their matters, best practices implementation, and training implementation. The PTS Project Management Administrator is also responsible for mentoring new hires and creating and implementing new hire orientation plans. This position will also act as a PTS Project Manager and will be responsible for consulting and supporting Perkins' legal teams and their clients in the strategic application and use of litigation support technologies as well as be supported by a team of PTS Analysts and Project Manager Assistants.
This position requires strong knowledge of the principles of litigation support software such as Clearwell, Relativity, Equivo, Concordance, CaseMap, and LiveNote as well as familiarity with the litigation process, including all phases of discovery and trial. Must have strong leadership skills, excellent case and project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain efficient litigations support processes is also required. Must have the ability to analyze a problem/project quickly and accurately, and develop creative solutions and have strong customer service skills. Fluency in standard MS Office applications and the ability to quickly master new litigation software is required. Must have demonstrated ability to take initiative and to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
A Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in litigation support management or equivalent is required as well as a successful track record in managing complex litigation matters. Previous project management experience is also required.
