The Packer represents Lord & Taylor and its ideals of service and quality to our ecommerce customers. The Packer must always be ready to assist with merchandise selection and ensure that the customer's overall Lord & Taylor experience is a positive one. This position is responsible for packing internet customer orders including gift packing and wrapping. This position requires excellent organization and presentation skills. Packers must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and have strong people skills. Packers report to the Outbound Manager.
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
Strong PC skills to perform line item cancels and send customer service email
Knowledge of merchandise types
Attention to detail, understand all systems and procedures relating to order fulfillment
Enforce loss prevention and shortage control procedures
Strong prioritization and time management skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
