Genie Industries/Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), a business segment of the Terex Corporation, is headquartered in Redmond, WA with branch offices worldwide; we manufacture material lifts, aerial work platforms, trailer-mounted booms and light towers, telehandlers, scissor lifts and self-propelled telescopic and articulating booms.
Directs and coordinates the activities of Team members performing sub-assembly, pretreatment of parts, powder coat painting, and material handling. Plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends and or implements improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions to assure optimal use of available capacity.
Minimum of 4 year’s experience in a manufacturing environment. Minimum of 2 years working with paint and painting technologies (powder preferred) Strong technical ability and understanding of Lean manufacturing principles. Ability to read and interpret blueprints Flexible, with strong teamwork orientation Good verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience coaching and training others. Strong math skills Excellent problem solving skills Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement Ability to work well under pressure Demonstrated ability to effectively implement change Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement through daily Kaizen Excellent attendance record Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with project management
