We are seeking a top-notch Paralegal to support the VP – Chief Litigation Counsel, Directors, and Senior Litigation Counsel in patent litigation practice. This person must be : outgoing, motivated, self-directed, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment, able to follow instruction, complete assignments in a timely manner, and work cohesively in a team environment. This position requires the ability to work overtime, which often cannot be predicted in advance.
Provide paralegal support to the Litigation attorneys.
Assist in case management through all stages of litigation from pre-filing work-up through trial.
Assist in managing all facets of discovery including administration and tracking of legal holds, collection and production of company documents and data, preparation of privilege logs, organization of case materials, and witness preparation.
Assist in managing outside law firms and vendors and monitor costs and containment measures.
Create and maintain electronic documents including letters, memos, status reports, logs presentations, spreadsheets, and other related materials.
Provide backup assistance to other staff members as needed or requested.
Key Qualifications and Required Skills:
2+ years patent litigation experience as a legal secretary or paralegal is required.
Unquestionable integrity and a proven ability to exercise high degree of confidentiality and objectivity.
Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required. SharePoint, PACER, Westlaw and eDiscovery-related software experience is helpful.
Demonstrably strong verbal and written communication abilities required including excellent grammatical skills.
Ability to make solid business decisions, problem-solve, and multi-task in a highly dynamic work environment.
Positive attitude is a must. Ability to work in a team setting and conduct and present oneself in a highly professional manner with both internal and external clients and personnel.

Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback on work performance.
