Summary : Perform all duties necessary to provide adequate medical care to patients in an occupational healthcare setting.
? Standard Paramedic competencies.
? Proficient in injections, blood draws, cholesterol testing, suture/staple removal and PPD Testing/TB.
? Support licensed professionals.
? Ability to travel to clients locations to perform basic lab tests.
? Collect and prepare lab specimens, including DOT and non-DOT drug screens using proper chain of custody.
? Ensure preparation for pick up and shipment to appropriate labs.
? Ability to assume duties of back office personnel, within scope of licensure, as needed.
? Knowledge of office equipment.
? Ability to prioritize and appropriately distribute daily workload and assigned projects to ensure operational effectiveness.
? Additional office support including, but not limited to front office support, Medisoft entries, filing and shared cleaning responsibilities will be performed as needed and/or as required.
? Certified as a Paramedic by the Texas Department of Health and must be Active and in good standing.
? Current CPR certification
? Valid Driver's License
? Must be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for 4 to 8 hours at a time
