Purpose:
To help empower parents to support the developmental needs
of their children - academically, socially and emotionally.
Hourly Rate:
$32.00 per hour/no benefits

Reports To:
School Principal
Responsibilities:
Contact parents to plan evening meetings at their homes
Attend workshops and be able to present at workshops presented by the CSDE and other state agencies
Go to parents' homes to help establish a positive learning environment for the children
Encourage parents to get involved in their school's activities
Help to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program
Maintain effective working relationships with parents, principal and school staff
Qualifications:
Must be Trilingual - English, Spanish and Portuguese
Strong communication skills
Excellent people skills
The ability to write and interpret as needed
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from parents
Maintain confidentiality
Unquestionable integrity
