To help us achieve our mission, we are currently seeking qualified individuals for PART-TIME Member Service Representative opportunities at our Pond Springs branch in north Austin (183 & McNeil area). Schedule: VARIABLE - 20 HOURS PER WEEK between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturdays. Starting Pay Rate: Hourly pay rate depending on experience, plus opportunities for monthly incentives The PositionIn the MSR role, you will be responsible for retaining existing members, as well as acquiring new members through account servicing, developing personalized banking relationship and offering superior member service and products.

DUTIES

Specific responsibilities include: Assisting members with account inquires and transactions, and researching and resolving issues with all account types as requested by membersProactively promoting credit union products and services by capitalizing on cross-selling opportunities provided by routine daily transactionsGenerating leads and scheduling members to meet with an Account Management Professional to establish new accounts or loansEducating members regarding multiple delivery channels (such as online banking) and promoting their use for member convenienceProviding services such as access to statements, notary services, member account number cards, wire transfers, direct deposit, check orders, ATM cards, and account closings

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED). 6+ months of financial industry and/or retail sales experience preferred. Fluency in Spanish preferred. Software & Equipment Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and be proficient in the use of a personal computer; Microsoft Office products; 10-key calculator and telephone. Knowledge of FSP, Ultradata, Econiq, and Teres is a plus. Other QualificationsMust be willing and able to work a variable schedule within the days and times specified above (20 hours per week)Must be bondable;Must have experience with heavy cash handling and be extremely accurate with all transactions;Must have proven experience wowing customers with excellent service.AMPLIFY conducts background and credit checks on candidates who receive offers of employment.
