Qualifications A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with adults with disabilities is required
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license, good driving record and be insurable with reliable transportation and clean criminal background
Be able to lift up to a maximum of 55 lbs. in order to assist individuals being supported to complete work assignments for their employers and/or assist the individuals being supported
Standing or sitting for long periods of time may occur
Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills are required
Maintain case records as required by licensing and funding bodies’ standards and regulations
Will be required to work in multiple work environments as dictated by the employment sites where individuals supported are employed and assist individuals with training and maintaining their employment
Previous experience working with MH and DD populations is required
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule and hours including nights, holidays, and weekends
Travel will be required

Responsibilities Immediate periodic position for a Community Resource Trainer (CRT) to work in Greensboro
Seeking energetic, self-motivated, hard working person to join our team to provide supports to individuals with disabilities to assist in community based employment
This position’s main responsibility is to assist individuals with maintaining competitive community based employment
Employment is maintained through evaluating skills, providing on the job training, solving work related problems, improving communication, and supporting individuals in maintaining satisfactory job skills
The CRT’s primary duties are to provide direct care service and supports to individuals with disabilities in community based employment
The CRT will provide services and supports based on the need of the individual as designated in their service plan and funded by Innovations Waiver and/or LTVS. The CRT will act as the primary contact with the employer
