We are growing again and seek an experienced Part-Time Hotel Audiovisual Technician at one of our premier upscale hotels in Naples.
We’re looking for an experienced Hotel Audio Visual Technician -- a person who can assume ownership, take responsibility, work in a team environment, and totally please the client.
Initially, we’re looking at about 24 hours per week. Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a drug and background test.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Proper set up and tear down of audio and video equipment
Able to match customer needs with equipment that best suits their request
Responsible for the safety and security of our AV equipment at the hotel
Quickly learn AVI’s equipment billing process & procedures
Load/ unload audio and video equipment from trucks
Must read, interpret and execute job flow sheet process
Must remain on premises during ALL meetings for which AVI-SPL has provided equipment
Effective telephone communication with internal and external customers
Troubleshoot equipment failures during customer meetings
Positive & effective interaction with customers & co-workers
Overtime required – must be flexible & available for evening and weekend events
This position will oversee the setup, operation, and takedown of sophisticated audio visual equipment for business meetings, events, trade shows, receptions, conventions, and more. Our operation is professional and seamless – our customers expect nothing less.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required :
Ability to think and work independently & meet necessary deadlines
Effective interaction with employees, customers and colleagues
Attention to detail -- Problem solving, trouble-shooting skills
2 + years audio video set-up and tear-down experience preferred; prior Hotel AudioVisual experience would be great.
PC proficiency is a plus.
Able to regularly lift 35# overhead, unassisted. Climb ladders.
