Monday and Wednesday classes and supervising student choreographers for annual Spring Dance Minor Concert.
Job Summary/Basic Function
This is a part-time position in Dance in the Department of Theatre. The applicant needs to be available to teach on Mondays and Wednesdays in the morning and early afternoon. The position will also involve supervising student choreographers in the process of creating choreography for the annual Dance Minor Spring Concert. Additional duties could involve choreography for Theatre Department musicals and for Dance concerts, and production supervision of the annual Nutcracker production for additional compensation.
Pay per course, no benefits.
Knowledge/Skills and Abilities
Applicant needs to be proficient and comfortable teaching all levels of modern dance, improvisation, and jazz dance. Proficiency in other subjects such as levels of ballet, dance composition, pedagogy, dance history, and tap dance are helpful. For additional compensation, proficiency in musical theatre choreography and dance production management would be helpful.

Minimum of Masters in the Academic Discipline Required.
MFA in Dance Preferred.
