Job Description Summary
Part-time faculty at East Georgia State College teaches classes within the Humanities Division on East Georgia State College—Augusta, Statesboro, and Swainsboro Campuses, day and/or evening. Disciplines taught in the Humanities Division include learning support English and reading, English composition, Spanish, communications, literature, music appreciation, and art appreciation. Employment subject to the availability and enrollment of classes and will be subject to change from term to term.
Knowledge Required by the Position
Masters degree with a minimum of eighteen graduate semester hours of subject specific work in the field required. Candidates should be committed to the two-year college mission, with a primary interest in the teaching/learning process as related to the two-year college student. Competence in electronic communications, as well as distance learning, is desired.
Masters degree with a minimum of eighteen graduate semester credit hours of specific work in the field required.
Ph.D. preferred. Successful college teaching experience desirable.
