Process registrations for school and general audience programs.
' Addresses inquiries from the public and schools regarding availability and logistics of programs.
' Receives, posts and transmits fees, including credit card transactions, for Education Department courses and events.
' Prepares and mails contracts, course admission tickets and related correspondence to course participants.
' Monitors receipt of contracts and payments from schools as well as all relevant forms for public programs (i.e. Summer Camp)
' Maintains all records pertinent to school class registration and programs for general audiences.
' Assists in the process of collecting medical forms for all summer program participants.
' Provides instructors with participant rosters for programs.
' Assists with copying and collating educational materials.
' Covers duties of Education Administrative Assistant as required.
' Assists Manager of Education as needed.
' Contributes to, enlarges and upholds the Society's policies toward the Equal
' Employment Opportunities for women, minorities, veterans, the handicapped
' and other protected groups.
' High School Diploma required Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
' Minimum of two years of administrative experience in an educational setting preferred
' Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
' Prior experience using databases
' Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to organize multiple projects at once.
' Must have outstanding customer service skills.
' Spanish speaking a plus.
This position pays up to $15.00 per hour depening on experience.
