Job Purpose and Scope:
To attract new customers, to serve existing customers both in person and by telephone; to provide the kind of service which would make people want to do business with Bank of the Ozarks.
Essential Job Functions:
Arrive at work promptly as scheduled, following written security procedures.
Provide assistance to customers in lobby, drive-through, and over the telephone, and online adhering to bank policy.
Accurate utilization of the teller system and computer system.
Daily reconciliation of teller cash drawer, with high level of accuracy.
Sell bank products and services.
Complete Mortgage Loan, Trust, First Data and IPI referrals.
Preparation of Cashier’s Checks and Traveler’s Checks and daily reconciliation of such items.
Regular use of fax, copier, check protector, and currency counter.
Daily balancing of ATM
Work closely with support personnel in researching customer requests.
Adhere to written bank policies and procedures as directed.
Maintain good punctuality and attendance to work.
Process loose coin through automatic coin machine
Strap and bundle currency to be sold to the Federal Reserve Bank

Major Job Demands (Physical/Mental):
Lifting/carrying bags of coin weighing up to 50 pounds.
Knowing and following bank policies and procedures.

Adapting to customer requests and demands and responding professionally to even the most disgruntled customer.
Minimum six (6) months cash handling experience
Minimum six (6) months customer service experience
High school diploma or equivalent
