Applications are now being accepted for a part-time Custodian working 36 hours a week, in the Police Department. The position requires the incumbent to clean assigned areas to the department standards, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, sanitization and related items. Will also assist with meeting and event set up and dismantle as requested by the department. Sweeps sidewalks and removes snow and ice. Must be flexible to work day, evening, weekend, holidays and special events.
QUALIFICATIONS: HS/GED or equivalent training and 1 year custodial experience and valid drivers’ license with good driving record. Must have physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and work in extreme weather conditions. Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, polygraph, and background investigation. Starting pay range is $11.04-$13.29 per hour (DOQ).
