We are currently seeking a part-time Desktop Administrator who will provide first-level support to employees located in all offices.

DUTIES

  • Provide first-level support for internal network, software, hardware, and VOIP phone system
  • Set up laptops and desktop computers with appropriate software for new hires
  • Make additions and changes to logins and e-mail addresses
  • Reissue equipment to current employees as needed
  • Troubleshoot server problems
  • Create nightly back-up tapes of company data
  • Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Minimum 1 year experience with desktop support in a Windows environment
  • Experience with Windows XP and Windows 8
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Windows Domain/Active Directory
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Experience with mobile devices including Android and Blackberry
  • Experience with Windows Server 2003/2008
Other Desired Skills
  • Experience with VMware
  • Experience with Windows Scripting and Group policy
  • Experience with Exchange 2007/2010
  • Experience with tape and disk backups
  • Experience with ShoreTel telephone systems *Provide first-level support for internal network, software, hardware, and VOIP phone system
