Responsible for coordination of activities related to the Omnicare Patient Specific Therapeutic Interchange (PSTI) Program including but not limited to PSTI preparation, reconciliation and communication with other staff as needed.

Key Responsibilities: · Generate PSTI orders, verify coverage and compliance with Omnicare protocols
· Process incoming PSTI responses and route to pharmacy for processing
· Upload/process prescriber and facility FFTI documents
· Review and manage Esker failed faxes
· Communicate with facility staff to verify correct prescriber information, when necessary
· Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
· Display behavior which exemplifies employee code of conduct guidelines.
· Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.
Management Responsibilities: (if applicable)

Minimum Qualifications (Required): (must be met in order to perform the job at the required level) : High School degree or equivalent; A minimum of 6 months to one year fulltime in Pharmacy experience necessary. Must be proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office programs. S trong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively cross-functionally with all levels.

Preferred Qualifications: (if above and beyond the minimum required) · Recent Pharmacy Technician experience. · Certified Pharmacy Technician credentials if applicable.

Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.
