To perform indoor and outdoor custodial duties and grounds maintenance for LRCVB contracted parking facilities.

Essential Job Functions:

Cleans, and picks up debris from indoor and outdoor parking decks and stairwells for LRCVB contracted parking facilities. Empties and replaces plastic liners in wastebaskets and trash cans. Maintains an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notifies supervisor of supplies needed. Maintains decorative planters inside and outside of parking facilities. Maintains outside grounds to include raking, sweeping, watering, trimming shrubs, planting and removing plant materials and other seasonal duties. Operates hand tools to trim shrubs, clean parking decks, removing weeds, and water plants. Pickups up plants and related-materials from suppliers and nurseries. Interacts in a positive and responsive manner with LRCVB employees, clients, attendees of events, and the general public. Op erates an assigned LRCVB automobile in the performance of essential functions.

Minimum Qualifications and Additional Requirements:

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through one (1) year of experience in janitorial/custodial, outdoor gardening and plant maintenance involving manual labor. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position. Must show proof of valid automobile insurance before being approved to drive any LRCVB vehicle. Must be available to work evenings, holidays and weekends as required. This position may require one or more of the following pre-employment screenings: drug and alcohol screening, or background investigation.
