Two or more years of cooking and food prep experience in the food industry are preferred for this position.
Duties and responsibilities will include cooking and serving breakfast, lunch, and/or supper, but specific tasks will depend on the station and shift you are assigned to work.
Must be able to do repetitive work, have knowledge of cooking procedures, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, work in a high-pace environment, and be able to multi-task.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, work in a hot environment, and be able to lift 30 pounds or more.
Must have a current Texas Food Handlers Certification or be able to obtain one within the first 30 days of employment.
Must have great customer service skills, be able to cook in front of customers, and be able to listen to and communicate with the customers.
Minimum Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the food industry preferred
- Texas Food Handlers Certification
