Parts & Inventory Control Specialist:
We are seeking a highly motivated Inventory Control Specialist with field experience in Solar or other engineering related field, to assists in compiling records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment. This experienced and intelligent individual will support our inventory and parts department, and will have the skills to implement and control new systems to better distribute parts to our employees and customers. This is a hands-on position and includes customer service, parts order processing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
?Compiles data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records
?Keeps stock available for back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available
?Prepares requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items
?Data entry and management using Microsoft Programs, and SAP or Maximo with Advanced Inventory
?Maintains good housekeeping in areas and adheres to established Company safety policies at all times.
?Troubleshoot immediate inventory inaccuracies.
?Daily address and correct Negative. On Hand Report.
?Must be available for Overtime as necessary.
?Ability to learn product line and communicate well technically with customers.
?Highly motivated by team success.Required Qualifications:
?High school diploma or equivalent/College degree preferred not required
?3-5 years of field work in the engineering related industry and experience in inventory control and/or technical parts.
?Intermediate computer skills-Microsoft office, SAP or Maximo enterprise with Advanced Inventory skills
?Customer service orientation
?Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lift and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
?Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentage, area, circumference, and volume
?Strong people skills
?Attention to detail and paper work
?Must be able to work under pressure
?Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
?Ability to build and control entire parts inventory system
?Excellent organizational skills
