Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Front/Back desk coverage, checking patients in/out, verify demographic information, verify insurance eligibility, collect payments, schedule appointments by phone and in person, process faxes, referral portal, obtain patient vitals (meeting MU goals), maintain provider schedules and rooms. Stock and supply rooms. Order supplies for clinic, keep track of expiration dates, audit pharmacy orders for accuracy. Must be able to multi-task, have data entry experience, excellent customer service and communication skills are required. The ability to problem solve and diffuse stressful situations involving patients. Work is performed under general supervision, and according to clearly defined standards and guidelines. Must have current CNA or CMA . Job starts as full time temp during initial training phase, which could last up to 6 months (or longer) with expectation to transition in to permanent as permanent position becomes available. After initial training, hours are reduced to as needed until such time as full-time, permanent position is available. No part-time, permanent positions will be available.
