Patient Care Director
Manage all aspects of patient care delivery within our Neurological ICU, founded in 1983 among the nation’s first. Today, we stand as the only academic Neurological ICU in our area, and a major regional transfer facility.
We’re seeking a change-agent: a proven leader with passion for the science of neurological care. You’ll educate colleagues, consult on rarely seen cases and support professional advancement. You’ll foster compassion, autonomy and evidence-based innovation. And you’ll take the helm of a unit that’s renowned for statistically leading outcomes.
Guide a team of award-winning practitioners who embody thought leadership – and thought action. One of our colleagues recently presented a 4-point scale evaluating the metabolic stresses of shivering at an international conference.
As Patient Care Director, you will shape strategic initiatives for continued achievement.
Ideal candidates possess extensive knowledge in both neurology and neurosurgery. Master’s degree is required, along with NYS licensure and progressive management experience. Candidates must have ACLS, CCRN and/or CNRN certification.
