The responsibilities for this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

Answering incoming telephone calls from patients and insurance companies;

Updating patient accounts information;

Working with the Patient First Insurance Specialists and Insurance Representatives regarding billing and insurance questions;

Researching patient accounts;

Refiling insurance claims on behalf of the patient.

Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

Employee must be 18 years of age or older;

High school graduate or equivalent;

Understand various insurances (preferred);

Strong verbal and written communication skills;

Detail-oriented and able to complete tasks in a timely manner;

Courteous and professional in all interaction with patients and co-workers;

Excellent organizational skills;

Basic computer skills (preferred);

Able to work from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
