Job Summary - Responsible for billing and collections of private pay accounts; both
uninsured and private pay after insurance accounts. Position will also be
responsible for identifying financial need and assisting patient with
completing a financial assistance form.
Education – High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
q Minimum of two years in a customer service position; preferably healthcare related.
q Strong financial and analytical skills.
q Have knowledge of computer system usage, relates to A/R management calculator, and other general office equipment.
q Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
q Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/ and HMO insurance plans and their regulations preferred.
q Good organization skills and ability to multi-task.
