Job Function
Do you have great customer service skills? OU Physicians needs a Patient Services Representative (PSR) I. This is an entry level call center position and you will be the first point of contact for our patients. We need someone who can interact professionally with our patients and transfer their calls in a prompt manner.

Our PSR I's also provide "float" coverage to our clinics when needed.

If you have 6 mos customer service experience especially using a multi-line phone system, this is a great opportunity for you.

Department Preferences
The person we're looking for will have great customer service skills and multi-line medical phone experience.

Physical Requirements:
Standard administrative office environment and exposure. The majority of work required by this position will be at a desk/computer work station; however, up to 25% of the essential functions of this position will involve mobility (being able to move from one floor of campus building to another; being able to move from one building to another for meetings, etc.).
Ability to engage in repetitive motions including movements of the hands, wrists or fingers.
Ability to speak including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others.
Ability to hear including perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
Ability to see including unique visual requirements above and beyond the standard ability to see with or without corrective eyewear such as color vision, depth perception, etc.

Required Education and Experience:
HS/equiv. and 6 mos customer service experience including operating a multi-line phone system.

Required Certifications, Registrations, or Licenses:
These requirements may be imposed by federal, state or recognized accrediting agency as a prerequisite of employment

Required Skills and Proficiencies:

Must be proficient on all Microsoft Office applications.
Must have the ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer.
Must be able to operate a multi-line phone system.
Excellent customer service skills and must be able to be sensitive and respectful of our patient's needs.
Must be able to work successfully with a diverse group of faculty, other staff, and members of the public.
Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
Must be able to report to the work location regularly and in a timely manner.
Professional manner and appearance.
