The Payroll Service Bureau is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable accounting professional to serve as Payroll/Benefits Analyst. Primary duties include performing the payroll function, benefits processing, and leave processing for agencies participating in the Bureau. Additional responsibilities include preparation of payroll certification materials and monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and information returns in conformance with Federal and State guidelines and policies.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must possess a strong work ethic with a customer service orientation; must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to apply established policies and procedures; and must have effective organizational skills. Candidate must be team oriented and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must have proficiency with Microsoft PC applications, including Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of policies and procedures associated with payroll, benefit and leave accounting business processes is preferred. Knowledge of Payroll and Leave Accounting Systems is preferred. Practical knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures governing the administration of employee compensation, benefits, and leave entitlements is preferred. Degree in accounting or related field preferred. Some knowledge of Accounting/Fiscal processes is desired.
