Tyler Technologies is seeking a Software Technical Support Specialist to provide first-tier phone troubleshooting software support to municipal clients who use Tyler's Munis Payroll/HRIS software product.
Respond to and resolve customer inquiries regarding software issues via telephone or email.
Manage multiple technical support calls and issues while providing excellent customer service to clients.
Continually develop product expertise by reviewing new functionality, testing new product issues, and utilizing company resources.
Contribute to the company knowledgebase and maintain accurate records regarding client interaction and problem resolution.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or comparable work experience.
Proficiency using computers and exposure to relational databases or SQL desired.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively work with clients on technical and business issues.
Experience with application software in a customer service environment a plus.
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude.
Knowledge of payroll or human resources is helpful.
