Purpose of Position:
This position will process payroll using an electronic timekeeping system. Process and proved assistance with personnel transactions, employee benefits, and the recruitment and selection process. Provide technical assistance with respect to interpretation of rules, regulations and agency policies.

This position is a Pay Band 60.

Classification Description:

HR, Training & Labor Rel Spec-Operational

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in human resource operations; recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation and benefits administration and/or occupational analysis. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
Employment Requirements:
Must be current with all tax reporting/payments, possess and maintain a New Mexico Driver's License and a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico; or must obtain a Defensive Driving Course Certification within six (6) months of hire as a condition of continued employment. Employment is subject to a pre-employment background investigation and is conditional pending results.
