DESCRIPTION

Compiles the necessary information to provide payroll for clients in Pathfinder's seven workshops. Maintains payroll records for accuracy of information and current information.

1 Full time position

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00-4:30.

Location: Jacksonville, AR

DUTIES

Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.

Compiles data and compiles records and reports in relation to payroll, Medicaid billing, and
miscellaneous monthly and quarterly reports.

Compiles payroll data such as hours worked, piecework, taxes, and other items to be withheld and employee identification numbers from laptops and other records.

Assists with comparing DDTCS paperwork to payroll for accuracy.

Delivers billing, payroll checks and/or other necessary paperwork to various individuals as needed.

Compiles information and/or forms required by Social Security Office or any other agency that requires payroll information.

Trains new instructors on client payroll and DDTCS paperwork.

Prepares computer input to the laptops for instructors to enter payroll information.

Assists in the initial set-up and continuing changes for clients' personal information.

Trouble shoots/assists with computer repairs as needed with computer techs.

Assists floor staff in Areas E and I as needed with clients.

Operates office machines such as computer, typewriter, adding, calculating and duplicating machines.

Assists in all workshop activities throughout the year.

General supervision and discipline of trainees as necessary.

Instructs and supervises trainees in the maintenance and importance of plant rules and regulations.

Assists in driving the vans to pick up or deliver trainees as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

One year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
