Job Summary

Supports the Accounting department by coordinating the payroll processes and providing accurate and timely information to associates.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

·

Performs recordkeeping and payroll processing activities including computing wage and overtime payments (i.e. bonuses, commissions, mileage, paid time off, etc.), calculating and recording deductions, and processing terminations.

Review and edit timecards each pay period to ensure compliance with AVF’s policies and procedures.

·

Process court-ordered deductions.

·

Respond timely and courteously to associates’ inquiries.

·

Prepare and pay local payroll tax withholdings.

·

Apply corporate values (PARTNERS).

Qualifications

Requirements

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

·

Experience:
A minimum of one (1) year of payroll, accounting or customer service experience.

·

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Attention to detail.

Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively communication verbally and in writing. Basic math skills. Proficiency in Word and Excel.
