The Payroll Team Member, Finance, Symphony is responsible for documenting the “to-be” processes, defining performance metrics and identifying and resolving process gaps related to data management. Responsible for understanding the Payroll function in conjunction with other team members and consultants.
The incumbent will participate in user acceptance testing and consults; assist in the creation of documentation and training materials, and deliver training during implementation.
The Team Member will posses an expert level of understanding of all of the business processes of the function they represent and will also serve as a communications liaison to Health Ministries during the implementation.
The Payroll Team Member, Finance, Symphony will have the responsibility of developing, documenting and reviewing business process design; identifying opportunities for process improvement and making recommendations that lead to improvements; escalating to functional Manager process and project issues that cannot be resolved; successfully developing and documenting test cases.
This individual will also monitor task assignments to ensure they are performed on schedule, within intended scope and to a defined level of quality; report progress to PMO on a weekly basis; provide subject-matter expertise of Health Ministry processes, policies and requirements in support of functional area process design, testing and implementation and coordinate with other team members to assure consistency and optimization of overall work product.
All commuting will be paid in accordance to Ascension Health's policy (relocation is not expected). Monday through Thursday work schedule will be on-site in St. Louis and working from home on Friday.

A B.S. in Business or related field, or the equivalent, is required; Master’s degree is preferred. Three to five (3 to 5) plus years of relevant experience in payroll along with excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making skills is required. Prior experience in ERP implementations or large scale projects is highly desirable.
