The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time board-certified pediatric gastroenterologist with a special interest in motility disorders in pediatric patients. This may be a primarily clinical and/or a research position with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The candidate would need to have expertise in diagnosing and treating motility disorders and/or a desire for additional training in this area. There is no pediatric motility center in North Carolina at this time, so the candidate would be expected to recruit patients from the entire state. There would be close collaboration with the adult GI Center for Functional GI & Motility Disorders Diseases as well as the Center for Esophageal Diseases and Swallowing (CEDAS). Research oriented faculty would have access to the NIH funded Center for Gastrointestinal Biology and Disease (CGIBD). Appointment will be as an Assistant, Associate or full Professor.
