A client of ours, a top-tier firm, is looking for a PeopleSoft Interface Analyst/Developer to be based in Torrance, CA.
The responsibilities of the PeopleSoft Interface Analyst/Developer will include:
Assisting in defining and analyzing the current interfaces
Providing support for the creation of functional specifications
Facilitating data mapping by gathering legacy technical information as needed and providing PeopleSoft and SAP technical information
Assisting in designing an end-to-end technical solution for each interface in SAP
Identifying legacy system changes needed as a result of the SAP design and assisting with managing the execution of legacy system changes
Coordinating end-to-end string testing and system integration testing of interfaces
Performing QA on interfaces.
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline

Minimum of 5 years of experience working on PeopleSoft (preferred) and/or SAP, with specific experience in PeopleSoft Financials and/or SAP ECC6 and SRM
Strong background in performance tuning techniques
Strong background in PeopleSoft development tools (PeopleCode, PeopleTools (Application Designer, Application Engine), SQR)
Background in IDocs and custom development in SAP (ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, etc.)
Knowledge of SAP PI/PO preferred
Experience with platform technologies (Mainframe (COBOL, JCL), Database (Oracle, DB2), OS (UNIX, Windows)
Experience reviewing functional specifications and creating technical specification and test plans
Functional knowledge of financial and/or procurement processes in PeopleSoft [FMS (GL, AM, AP, AR, PC, PO) and EPM/Budgeting]; and/or SAP (FI/CO, AP, AR, GL, FA, MM, IM, WM, Purchasing, SRM)
