Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for implementing data warehouse solutions using PeopleSoft EPM (DataStage), tuning and customizing ETL jobs, creating data models for customizations, troubleshooting performance problems, and applying Oracle maintenance packs and bundles. Perform development and testing throughout the standard development life cycle and assist with functional analysis as needed. Consult and coordinate with the Business Analysts to ensure that business requirement needs are met. Understand and provide documentation of all changes, following a standard methodology. Adapt easily to changing priorities and be effective in a fast paced environment. Self-starter, self-directed, and work in a structured environment. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree and two years of information technology experience or six years of information technology experience. Extensive experience with SQL development and database performance tuning. Positions in this classification may require knowledge of one or more programming languages and/or knowledge of an application and application tools.

Preferred Qualifications
• PeopleSoft EPM, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, ETL – DataStage. Customization experience.
• Experience with SQL development and database performance tuning.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Relevant courses in data warehousing, technical analysis, database systems and ERP systems.
• Analytical, detail oriented, organized, creative thinker and problem solver
• Overall 3-5 years of PeopleSoft EPM experience.
• Understanding of Financial processes and tools is a huge plus
• Maintain effective communication, coordination, and working relationships with client as well as other organizational team members
• Hands on experience with gathering and analyzing user requirements, performing fit/gap analysis and developing prototypes.
• Experience in design and development of App Engines and PeopleCode Pages.
• Experience with SQL development and database performance tuning.
• Data analysis, source system analysis and data mapping

Emory University is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft EPM. In this role, you will deliver business and technology solutions within a complex enterprise environment that will help Emory University gain competitive advantage and evolve into a high performance enterprise. Hands-on technical skills must be demonstrated in prior experience with preference given to candidates with support and development experience with enterprise financial data.
Candidates must have hands on experience with PeopleSoft EPM 9.0 components and data warehouse, data mart structure including a complete understanding of the PeopleSoft EPM environment, including metadata and security setup. Candidate must have strong technical knowledge of Admin Tools, configuring the dashboards, and the report security. Candidates must have hands on experience with DataStage and/or Informatica ETL tools.
Candidates are expected to function individually as well as team member on a larger team, support other team members, while also being a strong individual contributor
