Schedules appointments in a prompt and courteous manner utilizing CRT or PC and IDX scheduling software. Confirms appointments and handles cancellations in a timely, efficient and courteous manner. Is able to problem solve for patients and providers utilizing identified resources. Able to provide comprehensive service in order to facilitate a resolution to any caller request. Learning multiple software programs and systems that include IDX, Call Track, Centramax Plus, and physician referral system.

Call Center is open (24/7) nights and weekends may be required. PD CSRs are required to work 4 hrs min on holidays.

Qualifications:

Basics:
  • High school diploma
  • CRT or PC experience with knowledge of Windows or Word
  • Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette skills
  • Type 30 WPM
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to speak write and understand the English language
Preferences:
  • Previous Kelsey-Seybold experience
  • Previous experience in a high volume call center
  • Insurance knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, POS EPOs and indemnity plans 
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in a high volume call center while maintaining a professional attitude
