The person selected for this position will open new accounts, checking, certificates, money markets, IRA or CD accounts. This includes cross-selling a wide array of credit union products. Provide account information and handle member's daily credit union needs. Provide a variety of transaction services to members in credit union lobby and by phone such as balance inquiry, transfer of funds, history information, stop payments or photocopy of check(s), etc. Research and resolve member concerns, interview loan applicants and request specified information for loan applications. Ensure loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy and perform teller duties as needed.

Office hours are Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm .

Required Skills

This position requires someone to be service-oriented, self-motivated and to be able to work a variety of tasks.

It is a requirement of Advancial Federal Credit Union that our employees have credit current and in good standing, therefore background and credit checks will be required. Credit must be in good standing with no collection, repossession, or charge off accounts.

Required Experience

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products will be required. Consumer loan experience preferred.
