Watson is currently seeking a
Pharm Tech Co-op Student
to support the
Packaging Technology
group at our Parsippany, NJ location for a 6-month (Winter/Spring) paid placement.
Responsibilities:

Support marketed products, new product launches and strategic initiatives for the department through:
o
Selection of materials
o
Package evaluation/testing
o
Conducting packaging line trials
o
Writing technical reports
·
Develop packaging specifications, technical requirements for labeling and pallet patterns
Possible Summer Projects:
Set up and qualification of Packaging Lab equipment; Identify label changes required to support product serialization efforts; Create a comprehensive packaging equipment inventory for all sites

Housing Stipend to be provided
Qualifications
Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CAPE/TOPS and AutoCAD
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated
Education
Rising Junior or Senior pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science or Master’s degree in Packaging Science with at least one semester left to completion
