The Pharmacist will be involved in integrated drug distribution and clinical pharmacy functions in a de-centralized pharmacy setting. They will be directly involved with physicians, residents, and other hospital staff on a daily basis by participating in rounds, pharmacokinetic and therapeutic drug monitoring, and/or in-service educational sessions. The pharmacist will also be actively involved in reporting of medication events and adverse drug reactions.
Pharmacists must be eligible for licensure in Illinois . A pharmacist that has prior hospital experience or has completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1/PGY2 residency is preferred.
