Mildred Elley, a private two-year college in the County of Albany, is seeking adjunct faculty to teach Pharmacology classes in its Department of Health and Wellness for its Albany, NY campus.
This course introduces the student to the essentials of pharmaceuticals. Drug calculations, drug classifications, mechanisms of action, therapeutic effects, and adverse reactions of drugs commonly used in the medical office today, are the focus of instruction.
DEA license is required. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in field, and laboratory and clinical experience preferred. Master’s degree is strongly preferred and professional credentials (RN, PA, etc.) are highly desirable. Professional certifications, coursework in the field, documented work experience in the field, and higher education teaching experience are highly desirable.
