Depending on position, job duties may include:
Preparing and submitting claims for accounts and working with nursing facility staff, physician offices, and insurance companies to ensure timely payment of online submission of claims
Reviewing all incoming paperwork for completeness and accuracy focusing on payer verification
Responding to verbal customer inquiries, from incoming phone calls and written customer inquiries
Assist with training of new hires.
Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
If required by state law in certain positions, licensed/certified/registered pharmacy technician
Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible
Good math and analytical skills
Ability to interpret information
Ability to maintain composure in fast-pace environment
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Excellent organization skills and detail oriented
Minimum of six months to one year of work experience

May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
