We're working on behalf of a highly regarded children's hospital in Cleveland, OH. The hospital boasts more than 300 pediatric medical and surgical specialists staffing 429 inpatient beds and 43 outpatient clinics. Its children's network provides over 650,000 outpatient visits, 17,000 hospital admissions, 10,000 surgeries, and accepts over 1,400 transfers per yer. We seek candidates with two (2) - three (3) years progressively more responsible leadership experience in pediatric pharmacy to serve as the Pharmacy Manager . The person in this role will conceptualize, plan, implement, and direct the provisions of pharmaceutical care throughout the pediatric institute. He/she will serve as a role model for clinical excellence by ensuring that members of the pharmacy team uphold high clinical and educational standards. Goals for this position include providing leadership for the clinical and operational functions of the pediatric pharmacy. This includes planning, budgeting, formulary management, standardization of processes, and implementation of strategic plans, best practice clinical programs, cost saving initiatives and patient medication safety strategies.

Candidates must have a Pharm.D. and be eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio. We seek candidates with pediatric experience in a large, tertiary care academic center. Candidates must have two (2) or more years progressively responsible leadership experience. Strong preference given to candidates who have completed a AHSP residency program. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects under heavy and frequently changing workload. Must have a demonstrated record of innovation and excellence within respective area of pharmacy practice management.
