What we expect...
The pharmacy technician will assist the government in all aspects of ordering, shipping & receiving and inventory management of drugs. You will be responsible for preparation of caches of medications for deployment during disasters.
Physically manage drugs within a storage and distribution system
Create quarterly reports
Maintain a database of drug inventory
Prepare shipment to expedite the delivery of urgently required drugs to disaster sites
Build and re-build caches based on deployment needs

Must also hold a valid state pharmacy license or registration.
Specialized experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy or similar position desirable.
The right person will also have experience in ordering thru a wholesaler.
Previous leadership experience a plus.
This position is part-time working approximately 24 hours per week. This facility provides pharmaceutical services in emergencies, on occasion, extended hours may be necessary.
