Contributes to the operation of the laboratory b collecting and processing human samples from patients of all age groups. Handles telephone inquiries, performs computer functions and delivers lab samples to support delivery of high quality lab services.
High school graduation or equivalent. Completion of structured phlebotomy training program. Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred with on-the-job training in phlebotomy or formal training as a phlebotomy technician including a minimum of 100 hours of clinical training with the completion of 100 unaided venipunctures. PBT (ASCP) or equivalent obtained within first year of employment
