This position is located in Serra Mesa at Sharp Memorial Acute Physical Therapy department.
8-hour shift, including weekends
- Internal candidates only (Sharp HealthCare employees)
- Graduate of an approved professional school or graduate of accredited college or university with a certificate in Physical Therapy required
- Current CPR (HCP) certificate required
- Current CA Physical Therapy licensure required
- Two (2) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy
- Prior experience in Acute PT preferred
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, self-motivated, attentive to details
- Advanced handling techniques with neurologically impaired patients
- Works well with a team.
Evaluates and treats patients within the scope of care in a manner that is cost-effective and appropriate to the patient's diagnosis, age and culture, demonstrating clinical expertise, and the acquisition and training of new technique. Completes all documentation to meet regulatory and financial requirements. Provides cooperative and courteous services to internal and external customers as part of Sharp HealthCare's commitment to customer satisfaction. Supports department operations, participates in CQI activities and serves as a clinical resource to staff.
