Mechanical engineering summer intern needed to work in the lightRadio Cabinet Domain which engages in frame level physical and electrical design, analysis and documentation. Job responsibilities include sheet metal design, hands-on assembly of systems in the laboratory, execution of thermal and structural tests, as well as documentation and presentation of designs and test results as needed.
Candidate must have completed basic introductory mechanical engineering courses and demonstrated proficiency in those subjects.
Must have some knowledge of CAD design tools and analysis tools (thermal and mechanical).
Candidate should also have good communications skills (verbal and writing) and computer skills.
Familiarity with electronics, electrical assemblies and wireless technology is a plus.
Completion of junior year in mechanical engineering.
Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree or higher in Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college/university
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
Able to work from the Murray Hill office
