The staff physical therapist will be required to perform patient evaluations, set up treatment programs, and perform treatment programs in accordance with professional standards. The Therapist will provide care for the adolescent patient 12-16 years, adult patient 17-60 years, and the geriatric patient 60 years and older. The physical therapist will communicate with physicians, insurance companies, case managers, and other staff members to ensure proper treatment is provided. Staff Therapist will complete all necessary documentation timely as required by the hospital, payors, and referral sources. The physical therapist will be responsible for supervising PTA's with treatment programs and provide ongoing assessments to our patients.
Assumes the responsibility for professional growth and assists others in training and education. Complies with all departmental policies and procedures, and laws, which the hospital is subject.
Maintain a positive work environment and contributes to a team atmosphere
Education: Graduate from and accredited Physical Therapy School with a BS, MS, or DPT degree.
Knowledge/Skills: Missouri licensure required or eligibility.
Experience: Prefer one year experience, but new graduates are welcome.
