Under direction of the Manager of Physician Services, participates in the annual provider supply/need analysis and determine the need for primary care physicians and specialists for the service area. Performs recruitment functions including posting, sourcing, interviewing, coordinating/conducting site visits, prepare reports, participate in budgetary activities. Performs liaison functions including maintains contact with referral sources, develops sales strategy, new provider hospital orientation, maintains a thorough understanding of system programs.
Bachelor’s Degree in a business or healthcare related field. Areas of expertise may include marketing, human resources or management. Four years related experience in healthcare, business or management. Physician recruitment/relations experience preferred.
